Pikorahi- Big Twist
Aotea- Kyanite, Fuchsite. Taipoutini- South Westland.
We use the twist to speak of the double helix and use Aotea’s vibrant colour to promote an association to health.
The blue crystals and white base colour create an explosive scene. We see an ice burg falling into the sea. High energy, high impact, lots of movement. We acknowledge the cycles of life and embrace our place therein. This is an exciting time to be in the flow!
Already Ancient Aotearoa hand make all their stones in Aotearoa NZ. No two stones are the same!
The pikopiko is a fern frond, one of the special foods of early summer. The piko is a symbol of life itself and is represented by the shape of a koru. Whilst the word “koru” augers a mental image of a rolling curve the word piko is also translated to the word, twist/ bend. The word "rahi" means "large or sizeable". Pikorahi holds a dynamic energy that is larger than life. A fat rolling twist that seems to scoop itself and all nearby into an enthralling embrace.
